Ecotour is one of the most experienced and reliable tour operators in Kyrgyzstan. Ecotour is a team of Kyrgyz people who like their native country very much and are happy to show it to the guests. We invite you to experience the way nomadic Kyrgyz are living and to enjoy the beauty of our unspoiled nature on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.

A tour with Ecotour means an unforgettable and unusual holiday. Our tours are ideal for people who want to learn about foreign cultures and want to meet people with another way of living and for people who love mountains, quietness and do not like to travel in big groups. Our groups consist of a maximum of 2-8 persons. It is a discovery tour through a country which is still authentic and original. Our small yurt camps are located in the summer pastures at the altitude of approximately 2400 m. From here you can explore the surrounding mountains. The local staff, originating from a nearby village, will take care of you and is glad to share its daily life with you.

….And you can decide about your own individual itinerary. On the south side of Lake Issyk-Kol and at Lake Song-Kol, we have five yurt camps. From these places we offer a variety of tours. Depending on the length of your stay and your personal interest, your make a choice where to stay and what to do. You can ride on horseback, cycle or hike, or make a combination of different activities. Most guests come for three weeks; this allows enough time to enjoy the different landscapes. During some tours, you will not only stay in the yurt camps, but also in a guesthouse or at home with a local family. 

In this way of working we provide alternative employment and income opportunities for about 80 local families in the countryside.
