The Umai Hotel is a small family-run operation to the north of Bishkek city centre – 15 minutes walk from Ala-Too Square. Situated in its own private, but quite extensive grounds, the Umai is a haven of tranquility within the hustle and bustle of Bishkek.

There are 9 rooms, each with private toilet and shower facilities.  Heating, air-conditioning and cable TV are available in every room. Breakfast and lunch are served in the dining room.  Supper is normally served outside in our open-air yurt, situated next to our summer bar that sells mainly local products.

A small conference room capable of seating up to 20 people is also available for rent.

At the Umai the emphasis is on providing a friendly and homely atmosphere with every member of staff happy to assist you whatever your needs.  The staff speak an assortment of languages  – Kyrgyz, Russian, German, English, Dutch and French – some with more proficiency that others. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and the grounds.

Arrival and departure transfers can be arranged along with longer journeys and short tours if required.
