Kyrgyzstan for juniors

Kyrgyzstan for juniors

15-day tour, since 2000

Especially for families with young children

Our guides will ensure that all the activities are appropriate for your children, however young they may be

Young children love hiding in the forests, running across meadows, riding gentle horses whilst holding onto a horseman or parent, and especially swimming in a lake from a sandy beach and seeing the snow-capped mountains in the distance

About tour

For a family holiday Kyrgyzstan is a very special destination. And Ecotour has many years’ experience in organizing tours for families with children ensuring there are many interesting things for young visitors to see and do whilst they are here.

You will visit 3 yurt camps situated in different landscapes, and will stay in the mountains and close to beautiful mountain lakes. These locations vary in altitude from 1.600 to 2.450 m. For children there are all kind of activities – swimming, hiking, horse riding or learning to ride on the small Kyrgyz horses. In each yurt camp there are Kyrgyz children of all ages who will enjoy being with and playing with your children. New friendships will be made that will be remembered by your children, and maybe even you, far into the future.

In Bishkek you will stay at the Umai Hotel (or similar) located near the centre of the city, and in the mountains, you will stay in yurts, nomadic dwelling made of felt, and guesthouses (B&Bs). In each yurt camp a local family will take care of your needs whilst you are there. Transportation will be by minibus and a guide/interpreter (English or German) will accompany you during the whole trip.

Mountain passes, bad tracks, off-road, and firm climbs over 3000 m characterize this route.
Not all slopes are steep, but some are very long and on dirt roads.
But it is worth the effort.
